Manasvi’s Journey – A Story of Hope and Support

Five-year-old Manasvi, the only child of Bhavani and Sudhakar, was diagnosed with Thalassemia Major, a life-threatening blood disorder. Her parents, with a modest income of ₹15,000–25,000 per month, faced the daunting challenge of funding a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)—her only hope for survival.

Under the expert care of Dr. Sunil Bhat at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru, the BMT was successfully performed in May 2021. The total cost of the procedure was approximately ₹24 lakhs (USD 35,000). Through immense effort, the family managed to raise ₹17 lakhs (USD 25,000) by selling property, using savings, and seeking help from friends.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, PG Care Foundation stepped in and contributed ₹3,00,000 towards the procedure, helping bridge the financial gap and ensuring Manasvi received the life-saving treatment she needed.

This case, referred to us by Paranjyoti from (YFS), is a testament to what collective efforts and compassion can achieve. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a role in making this possible—your support has given Manasvi a fighting chance at a healthier future.
